This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies (local storage, session storage) Million Candles uses and why.
Essential — always on:
mc_token (local storage) — keeps you logged in. Cleared on logout. · theme / currency preferences (local storage) — remembers your display settings. · checkout context (session storage) — remembers the plan and billing period you selected during signup; cleared when the tab closes. · Stripe cookies — set by Stripe on checkout pages for payment security and fraud prevention (see Stripe's privacy policy).
If we enable analytics (e.g., Google Analytics), it will be configured with IP anonymization and used solely to understand aggregate usage — page views, feature adoption, drop-off points. Analytics data is never used to identify you personally or sold to anyone. You can opt out via browser settings or extensions such as Google's Analytics Opt-out Add-on.
No advertising cookies. No cross-site tracking. No selling of browsing data. No third-party ad networks.
You can clear or block storage in your browser settings. Blocking essential storage will log you out and may break login, checkout and preferences.
